Amphipolis - Gate to Hades - Gamejam 2014

The theme of the jam was Amphipolis, a newly opened (not discovered) tomb was all over the news, at the location known as 'Amphipolis', the tombs in that area house Ancient Greek Macedonian royalty and the rumor the media was trying to hype was that it was Great Alexander's tomb. We went with a concept of: under the tomb there is a path to the Styx and the gate of Hades on the other side. I made the environment and lighting with a few objects made by my co-jammers, I started by replicating the real temple, while one my team mates was scouring the net for reference photos. I even managed to sculpt a version of Charon, but I didn't have enough time to place him in the level.
